Readers Theater Resources

Readers
Theater is a method of changing written work into scripts for dramatic
presentation by the students. The parts are divided among the readers to
be read dramatically. Memorization is unnecessary but costumes can make it more
fun. The readers hold the scripts as they present the story. The goal is to get
students reading with great expression in their voices and appropriate gestures.
They are actually acting out the story informally. This makes reading
comprehension fun!
